NACE TG 360 News

NACE Task Group 360 Piping Systems: Review of NACE SP0169-2007 (formerly RP0169), "Control of External Corrosion on Underground or Submerged Metallic Piping Systems" is charged with reviewing and updating NACE SP0169. The cathodic protection criteria in this standard for achieving effective control of external corrosion on buried or submerged metallic piping systems are also applicable to other buried metallic structures.
The committee issued a draft for ballot that closed September 1, 2009. The committee will meet at Corrosion Technology Week 2009 on Tuesday September 22 from 9am - 6pm at the Hyatt Regency Downtown in Houston for an open review of the comments received on the ballot. See the agenda here.
